1. IDEA DEVELOPMENT
Writing a Biography about myself.
Introduction :
Coming from the food capital of Malaysia (Penang), Daryl Teoh is a 22 years old student who’s currently pursuing his Architecture degree in Taylor’s University. He’s a tech-nerd and music lover who’s deeply in love with the advancement of technological world.
Paragraph 1 :
Over the past years, he has been learning and expanding his skillset in architecture and IT field. He strongly believes the power of technology in advancing architecture design and visualization in the near future.
Paragraph 2 :
As someone who idolizes Elon Musk, a person who revolutionizes many industry by taking advantage of the advancement in technology, he embarks on the journey in understanding artificial intelligence and incorporating it into architectural design.
Summary :
Hoping that the future would embrace the technology advancement and creating many beautiful places, he would love to express the advantages of the implementation of technology in architectural design.
Writing a statement about my work
Introduction : On this digital work, I would like to visualize the greatness of technology advancement and persuade the general public to embrace it and not fear it, especially in architecture.
Pararaph 1 :
Scientist and engineers have been working hard in improving technology. However, social media, news and some people spread the fear of advancement, for example, the destruction of humanity. This is true if there is misused of the tools or abusing it by humans.
Paragraph 2 :
This issue isn't as bad as what we think. If we use them wisely, and utilising them the right way, our safety is assured. It might also benefit us a lot in future and might even save humanity from destruction or extinction.
Summary : "Use technology right and it helps us build the world!"

3. DESIGN DIRECTION
A final poster was chosen to be imported into After Effects for Execution.
TITLE : Technology Helps Us Build The World
ARTIST STATEMENT : In this poster,I would like to convey the message that I fully embrace technology in helping building the world, as an architect. I also want to show that with the power of my hands in the RIGHT DIRECTION and RIGHT USAGE, I am able to create a peaceful and advanced future, hence providing a BRIGHT future, instead of a dark one. The scifi head portrays that in future, there might also be an AI (Artificial Intelligence) copy of me that is helping me to create a better world. Poster scene is set at a realm above the sky to show that with the right usage of technology, we are able to reach further up than just the sky, hence sky is no longer the limit.

4. DESIGN DIRECTION
Poster is imported into After Effects to animate my composition. Masking, Scaling, Position and Puppet Pin Warp is used to create my video.
WEEK 14
5. FINAL SUBMISSION
Final Video is produced.
TITLE : Technology Helps Us Build The World
ARTIST STATEMENT :
In this video, I would like to convey the message that I have fully embrace technology in helping building the world, as an architect. The glowing of hands shows that with the power of my hands in the RIGHT DIRECTION and RIGHT USAGE, I am able to create a peaceful and advanced future., hence providing a BRIGHT future, instead of a dark one. The scifi head portrays that in future, there might also be an AI (Artificial Intelligence) copy of me that is helping me to create a better world. Poster scene is set at a realm above the sky to show that with the right usage of technology, we are able to reach further up than just the sky, hence sky is no longer the limit. Besides that, the machine arms are to convey the message that if they are created and used rightly, they will help us in building the world, hence clearing the doubts that advanced technology might destroy the humanity.
